decision-makers will take into consideration the public outcry against
placing a high school at an ill-suited, inefficient, expensive and
wasteful site. One of the best ways to help is to contact the Durham Board of Education. Urge them to reject a high school at the intersection of Erwin and Cornwallis Roads and instead support alternatives with better land use choices and less waste of Durham taxpayer dollars. Duke University officials have said there are no current negotiations for this Duke Forest parcel, but you can still let them know you would oppose such a transaction.
